This type is known as “Burmese Ruby” or “Pigeon’s Blood Ruby” which barely surpass several carats and this can be worth millions of dollars. The brownish hue type of ruby is from Thailand which the most type that can found in the market and this can be treated by heat to enhance the color. This treatment can augment the pellucidity by eliminating the tiny internal flaws of the gems.
