Gemstones and precious metals need special care.
Do use a smooth soft 96% cotton cloth to gently wipe each piece of jewelry clean of make-up and skin oils after each wearing. Always use 96% cotton since paper, polyester, and coarse fabrics often contain wood fibers or synthetics, which impart fine scratches.
Do Its recommended that you remove rings and bracelets when using strong cleaning products such as ammonia type cleaners.
Do Take off your jewelry when participating in sports, cleaning, gardening, or heavy work, to avoid harm to gemstones and metal jewelry.

Dont wear jewelry while swimming in a swimming pool. The chlorine pool chemicals can cause damage to various gemstones and gold.
